THE CONSTABLE FARM

Located in Póvoa in the beautiful and historic village of Cernache do Bonjardim, it is separated by a few meters from the birthplace of Santo Condestável D. Nuno Álvares Pereira, the most famous of the Portuguese generals with a huge success in the crisis of 1383-1385 that ensured the independence from Portugal to Castile.

Close to the magnificent Castelo de Bode reservoir, with good access whether coming from the north or the south, this Guest House & Health Retreat is 205 km from Porto, 161 km from Lisbon, 95 km from Coimbra and 31 km from Tomar.

Due to its location you will find a super peaceful environment, with fresh air and real peace, without disturbances.

 

At Quinta do Condestável, we have a beautiful 100% ecological vineyard, where nature combines mountains and distant landscapes and there are many varieties of experiences to enjoy the various charms of LIFE. You can choose multiple ways to relax your body with yoga, meditation or exercising with the most varied sports: swimming, wakeboarding by boat or cable, hiking, trial training with monitor, tennis, cycling, canoeing and ending the day with a therapeutic, relaxation or enological massage.
